    Dear GM Bologan,

I am a modest french amateur (best elo 2076) due to lack of time to study and play chess.
I have always played the King Indian defense, first inspired by Fischer in the late eighties, then conforted by Kasparov. I bought your book chess-stars.com. This is the best book on the KI since Gufeld’s “The Art of the King Indian”. I would like to study the variation 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Be2 oo 6.g4… I called it the Toulzac attack, a french player who made it his special weapon against the KI.

    Dear GM Bologan,

I was wondering if you’d be interested in trying a free trial of the new online coaching system, that ChessCube.com has developed. If you would like more information, please email rosie@chesscube.com.

    Thanks for your time.

    Warm Regards,
    Rosie McBain

You have often written a book on topics you’ve made ChessBase DVD’s on; are you doing a book on your excellent Caro-Kann DVD? If so, when may we look for it? If not, may I urge you to consider it? And how about a DVD on your best games (like Kasparov’s or Short’s or Korchnoi’s or Anands)?

    1. I am thinking of it, perhaps the work will start in spring.
    2. This is an interesting idea. I should consider this for my next trip to Hamburg.

I already have your dvd on the English (1.c4 e5) and have now got your book on the Rossolimo. I hope you may also add the various other Bb5 Sicilians – e.g. against d6 etc.
Thank you for what I’ve already got from you but like most chess players I’m greedy for more! :)

    Dear Mr. Bologan,

I don’t know whether you are working on a new book project yet, since I speak for many others and you are one of the leading experts and in general a decent theoretician – please write a book about the Volga Gambit and save it !!! By now it is not in that good shape, so your work and effort is needed !!! I think the whole Volga community would apreciate…

    with best regards,

    Daniel Khoshnevis
